Telling it like it is.

Barack Obama wants to be the American President, and yet hes credentials states that he's never even managed any American company. But in the other hand, he has plenty of charisma! Is that enough?

Judging from his activities and preparations before his actual Presidency ever occurs, I can foreseen what could be and how would evolve his coming political and economic agendas.



By just looking at the Obama's resume, I can tell that many American citizen may have some concerns regarding Obama's qualification as the chief executive, because apparently he has not enough credentials and experiences to be in charge of the American's destiny.

As I already said by looking at his (I must say: a rather paper thin) resume, I can envisage what kind of leadership we should expect from an Obama's Presidency.

Before becoming a community organizer in Chicago and practiced as a civil rights attorney, Obama attended and graduate at the Columbia University and Harvard Law School where he was also, "the president" of the Harvard Law Review. From 1997 to 2004 he served three years in the Illinois Senate.

Later, Obama was a junior United States Senator from Illinois from 2005 until his resignation on November 16, 2008.

The thing that I wanted to emphasize here is the, "community organizer" work he has done back in Chicago. To many Americans, it can look very little and not that much of important help to Obama coming administration, but I firmly believe, that everything he will do, or will decide to do, will be centered in this former job of his!

The community organizer.

So, as a community organizer what he can do?

He can do a lot with it! Obama could reach across the political aisle with an open mind to [the Republicans] and as well the democrats, and ask some of them to join forces with his team, and in the very end put together a team of the best and brightest minds of America.

Ultimately, that's what a good organizer will do. Convince people with different ideas and backgrounds, to pull together for a common goal: the good of America (and of course, the good of his administration).

We can expect in the near future, that Barack Obama will be prospecting anyone capable of, to put together a team of unmatched people and convince them to work for his own cause.

Obama, Clinton Discuss Top State Job.



As already we may have heard, there are rumors that the President-elect Barack Obama is considering for secretary of state, Hillary Rodham Clinton... A lot people were really amazed that Obama has made a such decision. A bad move? Maybe! He wants to incorporate in his new administration even a former major rival, for the democratic nomination such as a Hillary Clinton...

Hypothetically, if I had an administration of mine and I had to possibility to have somebody on my team as talented and asserted such as her, could I have allowed myself of leaving her out of a my hypothetical administration/team? No, of course not!

Frankly, with Obama in the world stage, I anticipate more discussions and less threatening politics in the America international affairs. Probably, he will look for dialogues rather than have any confrontational attitudes towards his interlocutors. And hopefully in the end, to find solution for untangle possible explosive situations.

So that, he will handle international affair in mellower ways, rather than imposing America's will with its overwhelming status. But, in the same time when the situation will require it, he will show enough toughness towards his hostile interlocutor.

And therefore, that's what Obama is doing. Indeed, with the mind of a good community organizer, he's looking beyond the boundaries of personal preconceptions if the scope requires it, and extending his hand even to former enemies, for the good of his administrative success.

We can be sure that his operations in the White House, will be a mix of tactics and mediations. Obama will try to draw to his cause, anyone capable of making him sail smoothly during all of his Presidency.

A new era? Obama's era.

For the first time in the history of the United States, a black President was elected. Barack Hussein Obama will be indeed, the next tenant of the White House.

I was really amazed, in how much America has changed. A couple years ago was inconceivable that a black American could ever be elected at this high national levels. And now, everything seems possible. A brave new world, that's what it is!

During this election, I got the impression that to the world rather than an American president a global leader was elected. It was more or less, like if the entire world was waiting for an announced Messiah, which would have led the entire planet to an improbable new era.

Not to be cynical, but now what with this newly elected President? All the tribulations of the American people will be ending soon?

The euphoria sparked by this new President, has somehow, given to many American citizens renewed hopes which were been broken by promises not kept. And now, perhaps the people of the United States are expecting a little too much from him...

Honestly, I do believe that the honeymoon with Obama and the people that voted him with such profound convictions will soon be over, once he will have to make some really tough decisions on some very important national matters. My isn't just a skeptical attitude, but a constatation based on the history of humanity and some personal experiences.

Right now the United States are in a recession, but how deep this recession is? Only in the next months we will found out how much, the American economy has really receded from its actual general state.

Yes we can.

Those exciting words are still echoing in my ears. In truth, this is the worst time for a new President to be elected. Barack Obama will have a very hard time to lead the American nation out the winds of recession. A recession second only to the 1929, Great Depression (also known as the, "Black Tuesday").

What it takes, to put on track a nation rattled with a skyrocketing unemployment rates?

Not party ideologies, but pragmatic politics with alongside a new philosophy. A bipartisan attitude by both democratic and republican parties to overcome difficult times laid ahead.

That's what will put the economy of the United States on track once again. And that is why, that Obama as the United States President seems to be, the most likely to drive a new American political system out of its own malaise.

In Obama is now reincarnated the idea of a new America?



Obama during his acceptance speech, has promised that the next four years of his Presidency won't be nothing like the last eight years, and he believes through his leadership, that the American nation would benefit from it.


Will he become a great leader, or will he fail? It's hard to tell now. He will have to manage many challenges, and none of them have easy solutions.

First in Obama's political agenda is, to stabilize a faltering economy. And later, to move forward to a new more prosperous era. Besides the urgency of a severe crisis, I don't forget that there is more on Obama's worries list: two wars fought in Afghanistan, and Iraq. And that's not all!

Not being anymore dependent on foreign oil, but to find new ways for renewable resources is one more worry. Another not less worrisome priority for Obama is, the global warming trend in our planet.

Of course, there are many other issues of great importance in which he will have to deal with. One of these is the Healthcare. He will have to sort out a better health system, for the American citizens.

Not doubt about it, Obama's charisma as leader will be severely tested during his Presidency. For the good of the people of the United States, I personally wish him all the luck he may need to run a country in such difficult moments.

Between crisis, wars, and gasoline prices going through the roof, there are 60 days left for the very last challenge between the two candidates running for the White House's Presidency.

In exact two months from the election for the presidency of the white house, there are little certainties on whom, could be the winner of it.

A change for the better.



After a not so brilliant 8 years of Bush administration, anyone else will be much better than this last President (I guess). Whoever of the two candidates, "Obama, or McCain " will win the 2008 Presidential Election, together with whatever changes and possibilities for a brighter future he will bring to the people of the United States, are welcomed.


The next President, has to keep the promises he has made during the long Presidential campaign, and in turn, hoping that those same promises will give the much needed changes, to boost the confidence and ultimately the recovery of an American nation on the declining side from the economic powerhouse it was used to be.

Waiting for new changes, and hoping they are for the better.

Back in the years of my youth when I was living in Italy till these days, I can still remember those years as the most happy of my life. Even though, my father was struggling to pay the bills and with whatever money left afterwards for anything else, and all the hard times he had while he was trying to raise a big family. And yet, he could give his family harmony and happiness.

Of course, nothing was perfect in my life.

I recall from those days of when asking my mother for some change to buy a new toy, or some candies, and always she came out with an answer: where do you think your father finds the money, in the streets? If you want money go in America. There, on the streets of America you can find all the money that you want for your candies.

Naturally, that was her personal way to tell me that we weren't that rich.

Anyhow, my young mind was ready to fantasize every time I heard those words from my mother, with which she was so accustomed to repeat to me, every moment I was asking her for money. In those years, I believed that America was indeed, the right place where to grow up, a place where everybody were rich, and happy.



My dreams come true.

Many years later, my dreams came true. Finally I was living in the United States. And, as a matter of fact, I did really find money on the streets of New York. Of course, the money I had found on those street's floors, were actually lose changes which the people accidentally dropped on those street's pavements. In fact, back in those days the people were so prosperous that they did not bother to pick them up. Nowadays, you will be very lucky to find some pennies on those same streets.

All this to tell you how much prosperity was there, in those years. Sadly to realize today, how much has been lost of all that prosperity. It makes so much bitter, a lot of people.

The dreamed land.

Yeah, I'm still smiling when thinking to my mother while she was mentioning America. She mistakenly believed America was a nation, not a continent. But I knew, that she as many other people when were mentioning America were referring to the States of America.

On those days in my native land, for a lot the people "America" was the dreamed land. America was seen as a place where anyone could find easily a good job, and thus he could earn a lot money. Oh well, anyone could find a job back then, but everyone had to work very hard to make some money.

Nowadays, in the States everybody can still find a job, but if you want to make enough money to live a decent life you better look for more then one job, like two or three jobs, or else you will have to struggle to pay for the bills, and hence survive.

That's how hard America has become for many American families. In fact, today most of the American families are trying to maintain a decorous standard of living, while their incomes are increasingly diminishing.

All this is happening because of a political economic system (sometime, an economic system notably in favor of who else...of course, the magnates of the industrial economy of the United States) put in place by the past White House's Presidencies.



All the above to say, how much America has changed since the days it was seen has the dreamed land by many people. Now, the task of the next President of the United States (Barack Obama, or John McCain) he has to revive those dreams of a great America, once again. Whoever will be the next President of the United States, he will have to give back hopes to those American families which had voted him for the promises he has made during his Presidential campaign.


I must say, I have always been skeptical of the promises made from a politician during his campaign election. You may ask the reason of it. The reason of it's, because I came from a nation where honest politicians are not that many.


Now, here in the States that doesn't means I won't find corrupted and self-interested politicians as well, but still I believe in the American political system. What I trust in the American system is, that besides the political system isn't that perfect it still works (of course, when it wants too).

Many have questioned the real intents of Iran's proudly inclination for nuclear energy. Iran doesn't really needs nuclear reactors. Simple put, it has enough oil to supply all of its needs, for many years to come. Why then, its eagerness for nuclear energy? The answer at first look is very simple. Iran wants to accomplish nuclear power status to...(that's the real concern of many peaceful nations) to engage in a nuclear warfare against ...guess who? Of course, its much hated nemesis, "Israel".


From the current President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, "Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's statements" in which he expressly declares the total and imminent destruction of Israel. Hes insane declarations on Israel destruction, been repeated as a litany on any interview he gets. In one of his recent interviews held in Rome, (in the occasion of the FAO's summit for the global food crisis) the Iranian president has repeated once more his vehement concepts for a total annihilation of the Israeli nation:

Israel will disappear from the world's geography. The disappearance of the Zionist regime would be good for every nation of the world, a regime which makes suffer peoples, not only the Palestinian, but even the European, and the United States people. Sixty millions people died during world war II. For what reason, only a small part of these dead people is always been remembered.

(he's referring to the Jewish's holocaust)

I want just to say that this black box of the Zionist regime would finally been opened. What I have said regarding the Zionist regime, was mostly the announcement of a news, or in truth, I say, I announce that this regime is on its way out. There will be, its own demolition.

"Is he crazy?" That's my personal reaction, after listening to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's interview. He doesn't gives the impression of a looney gay, at least that's the feeling I'm getting when I'm observing his interview. But then, we'll never know for sure who he is really behind that facade.


The prompt reactions that were coming from Israel towards Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's anti-semitic remarks, were not overdue:

This is a promise, that expressly Israel makes to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, while it's making evident allusion to its nuclear arsenal.


On the same note... Barack Obama during his candidacy to the United States' Presidency said:

I'm ready to defend Israel status as a sovereign state. Regarding Iran, I will do anything possible to impede Iran to get its hands on any possible nuclear capacities.

Today, Iran leads and sustain the radical wing of the Muslim world, if Iran would ever become a nuclear power, it would become in the same time leader of one of the most extreme and dangerous Islamic front of all time. Thereafter, a radical Iranian nation will set aside the moderated Islamic front, and in the end it will threaten not only Israel, but all the Western nations. As we all know, the radical Islamists are not just anti-Zionist, but anti-Westerners as well.

If a nuclear attack on Israel soil would ever happen, it wouldn't be without consequences for Iran itself? Not doubt about it. There will be outcomes for Iran too. Thinking of the consequences: the magnitude of damages would be of an immense tragedy on a vast scale. Common sense tells us, that this event it's too unrealistic and would never happen. Would it? In reality, concerns regarding the situation on that part of the world, are very worrisome.

The Iranian president should curb his fierce words, not knowing where those same words will bring not only the Israeli nation, but the entire Iranian nation as well. If he does not ceases with his insane words now, he is condemning to a certain catastrophe the all world. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's lunacy is bringing many nations to the edges of a nuclear war. Iranian people should wake up now, before it's too late. The destruction of the Israeli nation will come with a very high price to pay, not only Israel will suffer the outcomes, but Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's poisoning words are condemning as well, the nation of Iran.
